TCVFD completed construction of a new Apparatus Building in 2023. The large 6 bay garage houses our rolling stock (ambulance, rescue rig, water truck, Type 1 fire engine, Type 3 fire engine and Type 6 brush rig) with room for equipment storage and maintenance. No more trying to don structure gear or pull hoses from racks while breathing diesel fumes! Thank you to all of our donors and supporters for helping the VFD achieve its dream. Especial thanks to the McConnell Foundation, Sierra Pacific Foundation, Trinity Trust and a Community Development Block grant for providing the funding.

Old Fire Station before remodeling
In 2024, we turned our attention to isses in the old station and began by replacing the roof which had been leaking for decades. The buckets in the attic were removed.
In 2025 we began remodeling the 4 bay station into a training/community room, firefighter “ready room” and storage area for emergency supplies and the Auxiliary’s fundraising supples. The work is almost complete. We still have work to do, including replacing a non-functioning generator. Our goal is for the old station to serve as a community resource, especially during emergencies and power outages. The new HVAC system can provide a clean air refuge or warming center. The kitchen has been remodeled for better meal preparation.
